The kick-off meeting for the Erasmus+ KA2 project “STEM4Humanities” took place in Macerata, Italy, on 8 and 9 February. A consortium of 8 educational institutions from 7 countries marked the beginning of a transformative journey towards integrating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) skills into humanities education.

With participants from universities, NGOs and colleges in Italy, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, France and Georgia, the meeting was a testament to the project’s impact and collaborative spirit. During the meeting, the partners discussed the roadmap for the project’s first activities. In addition, the dialogue focused on a collective exploration of each partner’s expertise and the unique value they bring to the project in addressing key challenges in higher education.

The STEM4HUMANITIES project had begun, ready to reshape higher education and redefine the boundaries of what is possible for humanities professors and students.
